Share Matthew Van Fleet´s lift-the-flap board book, Tails, with infants and toddlers. (ages 0-4) Tales from the Odyssey  Mary Pope Osborne writes the Tales from the Odyssey based on Homer´s The Odyssey. The six books in the list of the Tales from the Odysssey introduces children (ages: 9-12) to the characters and creatures Odysseus meets on his homeward voyage from the Trojan War. Mythology. Nancy Drew helps her new friend and her father solve mysteries. (ages 9-12) The Butter Battle Book  Dr. Seuss (Theodor Geisel) writes and illustrates The Butter Battle Book. Through his humorous rhymes and whimsical creatures, children learn to tolerate differences and weapons are not best way settle those differences. (ages 4-8) The Cow in Apple Time  Robert Frost´s poem, The Cow in Apple Time, is a hilarious story about a cow who learns a very valuable life lesson. Share this rhyming poem with a preschooler who will discover why we do things correctly or suffer the consequences. (ages: 4-8) The Foot Book  Dr. Seuss knows babies and toddlers are fascinated with their hands and feet. The Foot Book allows them to explore their feet as well as the world around them.
