A Guided Meditation Course in Consciousness


What is consciousness? Do you want to explore this 'thought'?

These meditations give us a quiet period to think about our inner self and esoteric ideas, while shedding stress at the same time - with the regular breathing outlined in each meditation, our body becomes still, and we feel more peaceful.

After reading the short topic for each lesson, do the regular breathing pattern, and meditate upon the key words listed.

As this course is a self-paced, proceed to the next lesson at your own rate.

This is an example of the meditation format at the foot of each lesson:

Sitting or lying still begin even breathing to calm the mind and relax the body -- count 1 breathe in, count 2 breathe out, continuing for a minute or more.

Think about one of the key words from your reading. What is your understanding of the idea it represents? How could you apply it to your life?

To end the session take a deep breath, stretch, and get up or sleep.

Reflective meditation is useful not only with the lessons here, but after any reading or new experience.
