Online Group World Peace Meditation
Our daily cyber group meditation practice joins us together in our striving for personal peace for each, and world peace for our planet.
It is the intention for peace to permeate all
That keeps us moving toward our goal.
I lead the daily group meditation from here in The Netherlands at 8pm our time.
It is great if you can join in at the same time, or at 8pm your local time if that works best for you. It is like when we celebrate the arrival of New Year's Day each year, beginning at hourly intervals around the planet.
The most important thing is to remember our intention, and that is personal peace stretching into planetary peace one by one.
As more and more of us send peaceful thoughts, our planetary web - our cyber web - becomes saturated with peace. And for peace to permeate everywhere, our planet needs everyone who is aware of inner peace to contribute to the group influence, through concerted meditation on the common goal.
To begin your daily practice at 8pm, whether at western European time where I am, or 8pm your local time - or whenever you can with the intention that your peaceful thoughts are joining the group energy - find a quiet place where you can sit undisturbed for 10 minutes.
Try to refrain from refreshments an hour before and during meditation, so that your body is not actively digesting, while you are trying to quiet it down.
Close your eyes and begin a pattern of regular breathing, such as one count to inhale, and one count to exhale. Do not hold your breath at any time. Continue this rhythm throughout your meditation.
Your body will begin to quiet with this regular breathing. Turn your thoughts to the meaning of peace. What can you change in your daily routine to become more peaceful, and thereby a beacon of peace to others?
Send peaceful thoughts out to the universe, like a lighthouse beams its light for the good of ships at sea. Others are the ships at sea needing to see the beam of light to feel confident they are following the path of truth in their lives.
Conclude your daily meditation with a deep inhalation and exhalation, open your eyes and go forward with your day, a bright light beaming streams of peace into our world.
