CDs for Relaxation - Media Review
Here are 2 CDs from many listed at his web site by Charles Vald, a British Hypnotherapist.
The first CD I listened to “The Farm - Guided Imagery to help kids sleep” is primarily for children ages 5 to 10, but I must say I found it an enjoyable way to do a deep relaxation. And the cd is nearly an hour long, so there is plenty of time for a child to relax and fall asleep.
I would not be afraid to leave the tape running if your child went to sleep while listening to it. It does not have any sounds that suddenly spring out at you with a loud noise or any offending outburst.
I think it is important for kids to be soothed to sleep and this tape is one method that seems holistic and healthy, if it is your philosophy to use an aid such as music or a meditation tape.
I like listening to the lulling sounds of nature or music, myself, when taking a nap, so I can imagine children would really enjoy these low-key sounds.
It can be ordered at this URL The Farm – Guided Imagery to help kids sleep
The 2nd cd “Visual Guided Imagery Meditation” is a guided relaxation meditation for adults and I was able to fully and deeply relax, so if that is the meditation experience you are looking for this cd could be a complement to your practice.
It is available for purchase at the URL Visual Guided Imagery Meditation
