Three of the Pevensie children meet Father Christmas while running from the White Witch’s Secret Police in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Peter with his sisters, Susan and Lucy, are trying to escape Queen Jardis' henchmen. They will take the children to the White Witch. Queen Jardis, the White Witch desires to kill the children.

The Pevensie children and Mr. & Mrs. Beaver unexpectedly comes upon a man driving a sleigh. The man is Father Christmas. He is in a jolly mood. All the creatures and people in Narnia are jolly too. Father Christmas has not been seen since Queen Jardis placed a curse on Narnia.

Father Christmas gives Lucy a vial and dagger. The vial’s liquid is very special. The potion heals wounds. The recipient of the potion will fully recover from their injuries. Lucy thanks Father Christmas and keeps them as her most prized possessions.
