Honey-Cinnamon Roasted Nuts Recipe

Honey-Cinnamon Roasted Nuts

Turn canned mixed nuts into a tempting, tasty party treat.

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon, divided
  • 4 cups canned mixed nuts
  • 2-1/2 T. sugar

Preparation -
Combine the honey, butter and 1/2 teaspoon of the cinnamon in small saucepan. Bring to boil a boil and cook for two minutes, stirring constantly. Place the mixed nuts in a bowl and pour the honey mixture over top. Stir to thoroughly coat all the nuts. Spread the coated nuts on a foil lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 325° for 10 to 15 minutes or until the nuts are glazed and very lightly browned. Cool for about 20 minutes then place the nuts in a bowl. Mix the sugar with the remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Sprinkle over the roasted, glazed nuts and stir to coat evenly.
