Turkey Kabobs

Guest Author - Sandy Moyer

Turkey Kabobs

  • 1 lb. boneless turkey breast - cut into 1" cubes
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 small zucchini - cut into 1" to 1-1/2" slices
  • 1 large green bell pepper - cut into 1" to 1-1/2" pieces.
  • 1 large white sweet onion - cut into 1" to 1-1/2" pieces.

Preparation -
Whisk together the oil, lemon juice, garlic powder and pepper. Alternately thread the turkey and vegetables onto skewers. Place the assembled kabobs in a shallow dish. Pour the vegetable oil/lemon juice mixture over the kabobs. Cover and refrigerate for about one hour. Drain and discard the marinade. Grill the kabobs over medium hot coals for 10 to 15 minutes or until the turkey is lightly browned and cooked through, turning as needed to grill evenly.
