Bourbon Grilled Steak

Bourbon Grilled Steak

  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1/4 soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 to 3 pounds boneless sirloin or rib eye steak - about 1" thick

Preparation -
Mix all ingredients, except the steaks, together. Place the steaks in a ziptop bag. Add the marinade. Seal the bag and refrigerate for about 4 to 6 hours, turning the bag over occasionally. Oil the grill rack or spray generously with nonstick cooking spray. Remove the steaks from the marinade; discard the marinade. Grill the steaks over hot coals for about 7 to 8 minutes per side for medium rare. Add about 2 more minutes per side for medium or grill to desired doneness, turning over one time.
