Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows chapter 5, Fallen Warrior. Ted Tonks and his wife discover Hagrid and Harry on their property. Hagrid successfully reaches their destination. The husband and wife bring Harry in the house. Dromeda Tonks fixes Harry’s tooth and ribs. Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters left the pair because of the protective charms on the Tonks’ property. Tonks’ parents ask about their daughter.

Harry and Hagrid use a portkey to travel to the Burrow. They are the first team to arrive. Mrs. Weasley and Ginny are the welcome party. Lupin and George Weasley are next. George lost an ear by Dark Magic. It is not replaceable. Remus Lupin demands that Harry prove his identity, Harry does so. The Order of the Phoenix was betrayed by someone.

Kingsley Shacklebolt and Hermione Granger arrive on their thestral. Immediately, Kingsley points his wand at Lupin and demands the werewolf to prove his identity. He complies and passes. Next, Kingsley turns on Harry. Lupin assures him that Harry is Harry Potter.

Arthur and Fred return next. Mr. Weasley does not stop to prove his identity to Kingsley. He rushes to George’s side. For once, Fred is unable to speak, but George makes a joke. After a long and anxious wait, Tonks and Ron fly in on a broom. Tonks praises Ron’s skills while running into Remus’ welcoming arms.

Kingsley Shacklebolt leaves for his post on Downing Street. The others at the Burrow wait for the last four. Time passes, Bill and Fleur arrive on a thestral. Bill announces Mad-Eye is dead. The coward, Mundungus, Disapparated leaving Mad-Eye alone. Lord Voldemort’s curse kills Alastor Moody.

Lupin and Bill decide to recover Mad-Eye’s body. Harry speaks of leaving the Burrow and everyone. He does not wish Lord Voldemort coming to the Burrow and killing more of his friends. The others tell Harry to stop talking and thinking foolishly. Harry goes outside and has another vision. Lord Voldemort is torturing a wandmaker, Ollivander.

JK Rowling theme of love is here again. The Weasley family come together at the attack on George. Mr. Weasley risks attack on his person to see after his son. Friends and family worry about the whereabouts of others. Harry Potter considers leaving the Burrow for the safety of his friends. Also, we see the bad that can happen when we think only of ourselves. If Mundungus had remained and fought maybe Mad-Eye may live.
