Beginner Book Collection by Dr Seuss

Dr. Seuss's Beginner Book Collection (Cat in the Hat, One Fish Two Fish, Green Eggs and Ham, Hop on Pop, Fox in Socks) (I Can Read It All By Myself) contains Cat in the Hat, One Fish Two Fish, Green Eggs and Ham, Hop on Pop and Fox in Socks., The five book boxed set comes in a sturdy cardboard case and each book in this collection is hardcover.

Dr. Seuss(March 4, 1904-September 24, 1991) is one of the most famous American writers and illustrators of the well-known children's books picture books. The whimsical characters in Dr. Seuss story books delight infants, toddlers, preschool and elementary kids. The bright colors and imaginative situations compete for attention throughout the books.

Infants and young children love the cadence of the rhyming poetry. Toddlers and emergent readers enjoy reading the stories on their own. The simple words are perfect for the beginning reader, and the books are sturdy enough to carry around and love. Dr. Seuss Beginner Book Collection would be a wonderful birthday, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or Christmas gift books for the young children in your life.

How can you get your children to read more often? Keep the books available for them! I have been to homes where all the books are neatly arranged on the top shelf of the closet and the parent will just take one book down at a time and then quickly return it to the shelf. This does nothing to encourage independent reading. Keep those books stacked by the bed, on the nightstand, on the floor, in a basket in the family room and all over the house. They can be neat, but they need to be available to the children.

Note: This collection of Dr. Seuss books is from my personal library.
