Jack and Annie (Magic Tree House Books)

Jack and Annie are the hero and heroine of Mary Pope Osborne’s popular Magic Tree House books. They are sometimes called the Frog Creek kids, because they live in fictional Frog Creek, Pennsylvania. The hero and heroine are brother and sister. Jack is eight-years-old. Annie is seven-years-old. Jack is a serious boy. He wears a backpack on their travels. In the backpack, there are a pencil and notebook. He takes notes about the places where the two children travel. If there is a book about their destination, Jack has it, too. Annie is the fun loving sibling. She tends to act rashly while Jack studies the situation.

The siblings discover a tree house in the woods near their house. It is a magic tree house because it is a time portal. There are lots of books in it. Jack and Annie open a book. They point to a picture of a place. The Frog Creek kids make a wish to travel to the place. The magic tree house starts spinning. It moves faster and faster. When it stops, Jack and Annie are there.

The young detectives follow the given clue to find an object. The object is needed to solve a mystery. Travel with Jack and Annie in the Magic Tree House Books.

Read through the list of the Magic Tree House books. Are there any adventure books that you have missed? Have you never read a Magic Tree House book? Read one and join Jack and Annie on their time travels. Don't miss a book in the Magic Tree House Book collection. The Magic Tree House book series make great birthday and Christmas gifts for children between four to eight-years-old. Parents and caregivers will have to read aloud the mysteries to the younger kids.
