Greetings Friends,
Last weekend the USA celebrated the glory of Her Independence Day. In honor of this Holiday, I wrote about Ashtanga Yoga, which is aimed at making the student confident enough to practice without an instructor or even in a classroom. Yoga promotes self-discovery through setting aside time in the day to be alone with one's thoughts as you go through the motions of your routine. Independent thinking may not be something we all ponder in our daily lives, but there is a joy in discovering how gently empowering this simple act can be. If you've never experienced Ashtanga, I highly recommend it as both a physical and spiritual challenge that can change your attitude about what you can truly accomplish in life.

"Asthanga Yoga Is All About Independence"
This article tells you what you should expect after you sign up for an Ashtanga Yoga class. The emphasis of the poses is on connecting the body to the mind and spirit with the goal of making the student able to practice without the need of instructor assistance.
