Good Saturday to everyone!

This weekend we all celebrate the joy and beauty of motherhood! I hope you spend time with your mother, or your mother figure, and be sure to tell her how much you appreciate the love she has given to you throughout your life!

There are two new instructional articles posted to the Yoga site. One of them is the Eight Point Pose and the other the Shoulderstand. Both of these asanas promote healthy backs and give you time to focus on your sense of inner peace. They are also great ways for moms to chill out for a few minutes and take a break!

"Eight Point Pose"

A table pose that is part of the traditional Sun Salutation, this asana is excellent for increasing upper body tone, stretching the back and even firming the neck and face! If you have trouble with push-ups but still want the benefits, this is the asana to learn.


At the highest end of the Yoga difficulty scale, this asana is to be performed only by experienced practitioners. Once you're at this level though, this pose gives your metabolism a boost, and promotes peacefulness of mind and body.
