Slow-Cooked Sirloin Tips

Slow-Cooked Sirloin Tips

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 pounds beef sirloin - cut into 3/4" to 1" cubes
  • 1 large white sweet onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz.) condensed beef broth
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. ketchup

Preparation -
Combine the flour, salt and pepper. Toss mixture with the beef tips. Place in a Crock-Pot. Add onion, pepper, and sliced mushrooms(if using). Combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Pour over the beef and vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours. Serve over rice or hot buttered noodles, if desired. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
