Woodbine House Publishing was a Site of the Month for families and professionals in July 2005 at the Special Needs Children website at BellaOnline.com. It remains an excellent resource for books about raising and educating children with Down syndrome, autism, and other developmental disabilities, as well as children with learning disabilities or other special needs. Woodbine House books are wonderful resources for educators as well as families and have been given to public libraries as well as collected in parent support group libraries in the United States and around the world. Some titles are available in Spanish.
A great attribute that many appreciate are the wonderful pictures of children with disabilities found in Woodbine House Publishing products. They are known for giving attention to and celebrating diversity and inclusion.
