Grim Hill Books/Series by Linda DeMeulemeester

Guest Author - Taisha Turner

Grim Hill Books/Series by Linda DeMeulemeester. The award-winning books capture the imagination of young boys and girls between the ages eight and twelve-years-old. Grim Hill books average less than two hundred pages. Standard print, large print and ebook are the available formats.

Cat Peters and Snookie, her younger sister, are children of a divorce. They live with their mother in a new town. Mom works as a secretary at the really posh private school, Grimoire High. The school sits atop a hill known as Grim Hill.

Nothing goes right for Cat at her new school, Darkmont High. She wishes to escape and attend Grimoire High. The financially-strapped student has only one chance to attend. Cat has to win a soccer scholarship. She makes the team! Fortune changes for the good once she is in the soccer playoffs. Life is beautiful until strange happenings begin

Linda DeMeulemeester’s Grim Hill Books/Series are dark fantasy books with Celtic mythology undertones. The tween reader constantly wonders what is happening. They like Cat want to solve the curious mysteries.

Grim Hill/Books are great for fans of detective, mystery and suspense books. Linda DeMeulemeester incorparates Celtic mythology in the novels to invoke spookiness. Girls who love soccer will enjoy the series; Cat is a terrific soccer player.

Jasper Chung is Cat Peters' friend. He helps Cat discover the source of trouble in Grim Hill Books/Series. Boys will love the returning character in the sequels. A variety of characters pepper Grim Hill.

The Secret of Grim Hill and sequels offer kids(ages 8-12) clean fun. Drugs, drinking and sex are not part of the story lines. Young students participate in simple, clean activities: team sports, school activities and holiday celebrations.
