The Seven Potters is chapter four in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Harry Potter is now alone in number 4, Privet Drive. He is waiting for his Order of the Phoenix wizard escort. The underage wizard takes a final look around the house. It is the place he called home for sixteen years. Harry speaks to Hedwig about several places in the house. This includes the cupboard under the stairs.

The Order of the Phoenix guard lands in the backyard. Alastor “Mad-Eye” Moody is the wizard leader. Everyone moves into Aunt Petunia’s gleaming kitchen. Tonks makes an annoucement to Harry. She and Remus Lupin are married. Moody explains to Harry about his Trace. The Trace is what the Ministry of Magic uses to trace underage wizards doing magic. So Harry will do something nonmagical, he will fly from Privet Drive.

There will be seven Harry Potters flying in an attempt to confuse the Death Eaters. Alastor “Mad-Eye” Moody mixes hairs from Harry in a Polyjuice potion. Five volunteers plus Mundungus drink the resulting mixture. They change forms and become Harry Potter look-a-likes. The seven Potters with an escort leave Privet Drive forever.

The Order of the Phoenix guard scans the night sky before lift-off. The Dark Lord's henchmen find the group not long after their ascent. Hagrid is flying his motorbike. Harry is in the sidecar. Hedwig is between Harry’s knees. Potter turns in his seat to battle the Death Eaters. Hedwig is hit and dies. Suddenly, in the thick of the battle, the Death Eaters fly away.

The Death Eaters return with Lord Voldemort. The Dark Lord can fly unassisted. Voldemort’s wand shoots green Death curses at the pair on the motorbike. Hagrid falls off the vehicle. Mysteriously, Harry’s wand turns on its own volition to do battle. Harry crashes into a muddy pond.

Harry Potter discovers his friends are willing to risk their lives for him. By drinking the Polyjuce Portion, Death Eaters will kill them. Also, Harry finds there are good things about Privet Drive. Love invades the third chapter. Drop in the forum and share your thoughts.
