"CHAKRA CHATTER"
Good Saturday, Friends!
Now we are in a time of year that a sense of renewal begins, and nature will soon be in bloom around us. This is a wonderful time to make changes to our usual exercise routine and renew our own sense of excitement about what we do every day. Yoga gives us many possible ways to accomplish this - changing the sequences, increasing the difficulty by taking away the straps and blocks we used as beginners, learning more about the history of Yoga and how it is practiced around the world - are all ways to spark our interest again and move forward from the Winter doldrums!
This week, I added two articles to the Yoga Site. One of them is written in honor of the The Festival Of Holi, and the other is an instructional article for the Head To Knee Pose. When I write about asanas, I offer suggestions for modifications, so even if you are already familiar with some of the poses I write about, my instructions may still be useful to you.
Peace, Joy and Every Happiness to all!

"Head To Knee Pose"
This seated pose provides an intense stretch to the back of your legs, focusing on one at a time. It's a great way to get the "kinks" out of your mid-back area and stretch the back of your waist - and firm the muscles in your face and neck.

"The Festival Of Holi"
Holi, The Festival of Colors, is a Hindu feast day celebrated on the day after the full moon that happens late in February or early in March. Steeped in tradition that includes very loud merrymaking and spraying friends with colored powder, Holi does indeed welcome in Springtime!
