In Honor of Our Black Soldiers This Memorial Day
Giving honor this Memorial Day to African American Soldiers that have fought to keep our country safe, even while they fought to be recognized and respected as fellow Americans.

It's time to make a change in the conversations and dialogue taking place amongst our Black children. It is time to stop putting personal issues, frustrations, experiences and placing them on the shoulders of children to carry.

Fatherless Sons in the Black Community
There is more than enough blame to go around concerning the responsibility for our fatherless sons. However, the blame game must cease, and true, sincere, honest, and open dialogue must begin. All children need their fathers; especially sons. Only another man can teach a young boy how to be a man.
Saving Schools in Our Black Communities
How is it possible where there is already devastating poverty, that children are being deprived a school in their own neighborhood? Something must be done to ensure the longevity and excellence in our community schools.

What are we teaching our Black children? What are we instilling in them? What lessons are we passing down? Black children are owed an opportunity to see past tomorrow; to see past and hope for more than what their eyes can see. It's time for the village to step in, giving our Black children life.

Selfishness is not an option when it comes to the future of Black children. There must be the regard for human life that takes precedent over self-preservation. We cannot continue to sit idly by and watch the lives of Black children be snuffed out. Their future is in our hands.

With a world that is constantly changing, how do yo hold on to family traditions? Or, do you let go of the past to create new traditions for yourself and your family? Easter is the perfect season to reflect upon our life lessons and traditions; determining where we want to go next.
Unity Can Shed Insecurities In Black Women
As Black women, something amazing and powerful happens when we come together and support one another. Coming together and having open, honest dialogue about our struggles has proven to be key in us overcoming and shedding our insecurities.
