Time Travel - Magic Tree House Books

Jack and Annie are the Magic Tree House series' time travelers. They live in Frog Creek, Pennsylvania. They are a brother and sister who discover a magic tree house. In the tree house, there are many books. Jack and Annie open a book, point at a picture and say “take us there.” The magic tree house begins to spin. It stops at the requested destination.

Here is a brief profile of the time travelers' personality. Jack is eight-years-old. He is reserved and likes to deal with facts. In his backpack, there are the original book and a notebook. He takes notes on their travels. Annie is a lively seven-year-old. She provides the humor in the Jack and Annie books. Also, her inquisitiveness allows the pair to accidently find clues.
Mary Pope Osborne is the author of the Magic Tree House series. The series is very popular with five to eight-years-old children. They love the notion of time. The readers travel and learn with the Frog Creek, PA time travelers. Jack and Annie travel to the Amazon, Japan, Australia and Hawaii. Also, in the Jack and Annie books, they travel to the past to the American West, Civil War and the Revolutionary War. The mystery in each early chapter book keep children turning the pages.

Read through the complete list of the Magic Tree House books. Are there any books that you have missed? Have you never read a Magic Tree House book? Read one and join Jack and Annie on their time travels. Don't miss a book in the Magic Tree House Book collection. The Magic Tree House book series make great birthday and Christmas gifts for children five to eight-years-old. The books are available on audio cassette, too.
