Biggest Loser Diet & Workout Tips

In the past few months I've written many articles about Metabolic Typing and why it's so important to start eating foods that are bio-compatible but now America's toughest trainer Jillian Michaels is saying it loud and clear. You must eat right for your type or you're not going to burn fat. Check out the top 3 weight loss myths still floating around on some of the most popular weight loss sites and why they're so wrong plus diet and exercise tips to help you be a biggest loser.

It's Not Just About Calories
I've been saying this for years and now Michaels is saying it, writing about it, and using it to help people everywhere shed tons of fat. It's not just about cutting calories! Although adequate calorie intake is necessary the types of foods you eat are also important. The more bio-compatible your food are with your metabolic type the healthier you will be and being healthy is the key to losing fat. Anybody's who's still deluded that it's just about calories is not doing their research. Michaels suggests you take her quick test to find out if you're a fast oxidizer or a slow oxidizer. This will help you determine what types of fuels will work best for your body type. She understands that not everybody is the same and that people who eat the wrong foods are actually creating a hormonal imbalance that prevents fatloss. The biggest mistake you can make if you're struggling to lose weight even after cutting calories and carbs is to ignore this advice.

You Need To Indulge To Lose
Michaels doesn't believe in total deprivation. Even though she comes across as really tough and hardcore on the show she admits to working her dark chocolate fix into her daily calorie intake. Yes you read that right, DAILY. This is probably one of the most important tips I ever learned that has helped me not completely lose it when there's sweets around. Most people who binge do it because they always feel so deprived (always on some diet) but when you work it into your daily calorie intake you just don't get that urge to binge. Michaels suggest you learn how to treat yourself without going overboard.

Stop Making Excuses Not To Workout
Michaels might be one of the most effective and toughest trainers around because she understand what it's like to be fat and sedentary. She struggled with her own weight and knows how frustrating it can be to feel out of shape but she managed to get herself in top shape. She knows that beneath all that fat and behind the bad attitudes of every contestant there's a skinny athletic person just busting to get out. Michaels doesn't put up with excuses because she changed and she's seen many contestants on her show change. Her advice is to get tough with yourself and stop making excuses about working out. You won't accomplish the weight loss with diet alone and any site telling you that you will is lying to you. You gotta move otherwise you can forget about being healthy and lean. Doesn't it just make more sense to listen to losers anyway?
