Weightloss Plan Must Haves


You already know that you need a healthy diet, exercise, and accountability in order for your weightloss plan to work. If you don't have those 3 things then you may as well not even bother trying. But what separates the losers from those who continually fail or struggle with weightloss and how do you become a weightloss success story that inspires others. Below are the 3 things you need to have to lose the fat and keep it off forever.

A scheduler to plan out everything
You need to plan every single aspect of your weightloss plan including daily meals, foods you'll eat, shopping lists, grocery shopping days, what workouts you're doing when, where, and with what equipment, what days you'll be going off plan, what supplements to take what days. The list is endless and you can't possibly remember all of it. I had a client recently who was totally committed to eating healthy and working consistently but who refused to plan meals around workouts. The result was a frustrating plateau and eventually failure. Do you really want to stall after you've already lost 35 pounds and only have 10 more pounds to go? Don't make the same mistake this person did. Plan everything in your scheduler and get the results you deserve. Planning takes all the guess work out of everything so you just do what you plan and lose.

A support group or person
We all like to think we can do it alone but the truth is we can't. I never had an easy time of losing weight. Check out my success story and read more about my frustrating 18 month weightloss journey. My plan became easy when I got support form my co-workers after I became a certified trainer. I thought I could do it alone but the truth is nobody can not even bodybuilders, trainers, atheltes, fitness models, or movie stars do it alone. We all have coaches, trainers, mentors. So hire a trainer, join a bootcamp, visit a supportive website or forum often, or sign up for an online diet and fitness website you can count on like diet.com. You need to surround yourself with like minded people who are going to help you get through the hard time and celebrate your achievements.

A totally different view of yourself
One of my clients lose 45 pounds with one simple strategy that she learned from my colleague Chris Guerriero author of Maximize Your Metabolism. It's simple but it requires belief in yourself. All you have to do is imagine that you're already where you need to be. Imagine how you will look when you are 10 20 40 pounds lighter. What will you be able to do with your body, with your life, how will you eat, dress, act, what will people say and how will they treat you. Visualize this as vividly as possible then start living as if you already achieved this goal.
