The site has a community forum and is packed with useful information and practical advice for children and adults with attention deficit disorder. I find myself at this website constantly! If you have a question pertaining to ADD, you will most likely find an answer here.
ADDvance Magazine [offsite link] The ADDvance Magazine Resource Site for Women and Girls with Attention Deficit Disorder - excellent articles for women. ADHD National Awareness Day  September 14, 2005 is the second annual National Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Awareness Day. To celebrate this event and to help educate people about ADHD there are many free teleclasses available. ADHD Online Support Groups  Sometimes the only one who can help is someone who has experienced similar things. ADHD support groups can provide help and encouragement when you need it. Provides articles, personal stories, interviews with ADD professionals, book reviews, and links to other ADD-related sites. ADDA membership consists of people who live with ADD, and those who love, live with, teach, treat and counsel those who do. This website is absolutely one of my very favorites! CHADD:Children and Adults With Attention Deficit Disorder [offsite link] The national and international nonprofit parent-support organization for children and adults with ADD. They have a beautifully redesigned website that offers an electronic newsletter, subscription to their print magazine, lots of frequently asked questions, and resources galore. CHADD serves as a national clearinghouse for information, support, and advocacy for ADD individuals. National Association For Gifted Children [offsite link] NAGC is a non-profit organization of parents, teachers, educators, community leaders and other professionals who unite to address the unique needs of all children and youth with demonstrated gifts and talents as well as those who may be able to develop their talent potential with appropriate educational experiences.
National Information Center For Children/ Youth With Disabilities [offsite link] NICHCY is the national information and referral center that provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and other professionals.
