A very trendy fruit juice available at some grocery stores, this tasty orange is as red as its name. If you can´t find it at your local store, buy some blood oranges and juice ´em yourself. Also linked to my Mocktail version.

Enjoy! :)

Recent Recipes and Articles:
Haven't dropped by lately? Here are the currently featured recipes for cocktails, mocktails, reviews, and other articles since my last newsletter:

Refreshing on a hot summer day, I came up with this recipe after a long day of house-hunting. A fun, grown-up twist on the classic iced tea. Also linked to my Mocktail version.

A tasty treat any time of the year, this coffee and chocolate milk beverage is a great way to indulge your sweet tooth without the alcohol. With buzz or without.

For coffee lovers of all types, this delicious frozen martini is wonderful as a cool treat on a hot night -- or a cold night with a hot guest. Be prepared and make ahead, as you must freeze part of this drink and have it on hand to mix with the rest of the ingredients.

Cosmopolitans have been replaced by the incredibly trendy Pomtini, which uses healthy pomegranate juice and delivers a sweet / tart flavour. Guests will be entranced by the taste, the colour, and your incredible sense of style when you serve this at your next get-together.

Cutting Back On Booze?
You can eliminate most, if not all, of the alcohol in the cocktail recipes I feature and write about. To find heavenly recipes for beverages that don't involve any booze at all, check out my always-growing section on Mocktails (which are alcohol-free cocktails). You'll enjoy all of the fun without sacrificing taste!

Michelle's Swizzle-Stick Tip
Fridge space low? Pop out the soda! There are several ways to keep your fave fizzies cold.

· You can stock a cooler with ice and store it (with the lid) in the kitchen or a shaded area outside.
· In cooler weather, you can store it outside without the ice, but beware of allowing it to freeze or the cans will explode.
· Buy a toddler's wading pool. Fill it with ice and stock with soda.

Notes On A Cocktail Napkin...
Welcome to all my newest subscribers! I'm right at the deadline for my cocktail book, so I've added a few more recipes and sending out this newsletter while I've got a chance to. I still have a few finishing touches to put on the cover art, and when that's done and the recipes and text sent in, I've got to finish the rest of the graphics. I'll keep you updated on everything while I'm working, and adding new recipes to the BellaOnline database. If there's anything you'd like to see added, please let me know!

Please note that I am in the midst of adding new cocktail subjects and dividing them into subcategories on the main Cocktails site, so I really appreciate your patience while I move them to their new homes. I've doubled the database since December, when I took over the site, so you can imagine the amount of recipes I'm dealing with :) I think everything is close to being done, though.

Here are a few subscriber-only links to recipes that site visitors can't get to yet:

Happy Canada Day, and Happy Fourth! :)
