Champion Jogbra Action Shape Sports Bra
This version by Champion is a great sports bra and will hold you in place even if you decide to run, jog, dance or join a pickup basketball game while you are out walking. This is one of the most sturdy sports bras I own, and in fact, I rarely wear it because the band is too tight for me, and I am the upper range of sizes offered. So, I highly recommend you order one band size up from what you regularly wear.
Other Champion sports bras in the same size fit me fine, so I think it is just this particular model that runs tighter. It has a very strong 1 ¼ inch elastic band that while it does stretch, it doesn’t stretch much. Which is a key to its being a great sports bra—you don’t want a lot of stretch!
This bra is made of cotton, polyester and Lycra Spandex. The combination makes for a comfortable bra that provides the right amount of comfort, wicking and stretch.
There are no underwires in this bra. It has two layers of fabric. The inner layer is a wicking material to help move sweat away from you. The bra part has additional seaming in this layer to make it fit better. There is a three-hook bra closure in the back, and an additional plastic snap hook which gives three different options for making the bra even more snug if needed.
The straps are quite sturdy, too, with a ¾ inch elastic strap that is adjustable with a Velcro patch that attaches to the strap. Don’t worry; the Velcro is very smooth and comfortable. It’s a terry-cloth type Velcro and it secures and holds very well. I have never had it slip and the straps do help keep the bouncing to a minimum.
This bra is a great value. It is one of the better sports bras you will find for under $40. It comes in gray, black, white and blue. I recommend this bra for up to size 38 D. I think larger band or cup sizes will have a difficult time with fit and comfort in this model.
