Unamed Women of the Bible
We donīt know their names, but God knows them. There stories are in the Bible.
Healed by Faith  She had been suffering with bleeding for 12 years. All her money had gone to the doctors, all promising to heal her, but the bleeding had continued. Pharaoh's Daughter - Moses' Other Mother  The princess went down to the Nile to bathe. In a simple papayrus basket she found her baby boy. The Adulterous Woman of the Bible  This woman was caught breaking the law. There was no question of that. The Queen of Sheba  The Queen of Sheba is one of the un-named women of the Bible, but she is quite well known. We are not given her name in the Bible, although other cultures have named her. The Resurrection of Jairus' Daughter  Jesus takes our worst and gives us His best. We can confidently approach Him to receive His healing touch. The Woman at the Well  Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. One particular instance is in the story of His meeting with the Samaritan woman at the well. Un- named - A Woman Who Loved Jesus  This is a story of a woman who loved Jesus and let nothing stop her from worshiping Him. Un-named - A Dialogue With God Mark 7:25 - 30  In the Bible, in the book of Mark, there is a brief story of a woman who interrupted Jesus in one of His private times. Un-named - Jairusī Daughter  She was twelve years old. We donīt know much about her, but we know of the faith of her father and the mercy of Jesus. Un-named - The Christian Ideal of an Excellent Wife  This woman may sound intimidating. Proverbs 31 - Who can live up to this image? Un-named - The Persistent Widow  Powerless and vulnerable. What does Jesus tell us to do? What is a Titus 2 Woman?  Some use this name to describe the way a Christian woman should behave. Widow of Zarephath  God provided for this Gentile woman even while many Jews were suffering in a famine. Widow of Zarephath - Another Miracle  A Gentile woman in Zarephath learned about God through first hand experience with one of His prophets.
