About the BellaOnline Exercise Editor

Hello everyone. I am Terri Johansen, Exercise Editor for BellaOnline. I hope you enjoy my site and bookmark it. I live in Cheyenne, Wyoming with my husband William, our two dogs Katie and Dixie and two cats Josie & Callie.

Using my personal experience, and knowledge base I write articles that relate to women from all walks of life, providing information on simple and very important exercise topics. I know what you want because I have been there, either as a student in a class, or as an exercise instructor. I want to show you that exercise can be fun!

I have training in many exercise classes which include: Spinning or Group Cycling; Circuit Training; Personal Trainer; Fitness Assessor; Yoga instructor; Pilates instructor; Yogalates instructor; and Group Fitness Instructor; as well as several special certifications for exercise pertaining to those of us who suffer from arthritis. My Fitness Assessment and Personal Trainer Certifications are through "The Aerobics and Fitness Association of
America" (AFAA).

I have been an avid exerciser for over 30 years participating in such sport as: running, walking, road biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tennis, racquetball, and probably some others I have forgotten. I have a passion for being healthy and fit and for helping others do likewise. I have taught exercise routines to people confined to chairs or beds, to the beginner exerciser looking for where to start, and to body builders.

I also enjoy writing poetry, reading, camping, hiking, photography, collecting stamps, playing with tarot cards,and singing. I have written articles for online websites and my own blog and website. I have had articles published in local and regional magazines. I have been published in "Muse", BellaOnline.com´s quarterly Literary Magazine.
