In addition to working full time and being an editor for BellaOnline, Patricia writes for Associated Content, Demand Studios, Delegate2, and private sectors. She is also the Managing Debt Examiner for the Charlotte Examiner.
At the age of 40, Patricia met her soul mate and they married in October 2008. Together, they have a blended family consisting of three kids, ages 17, 20 and 21, three cats and three dogs. Her husband has had Crohn’s for the past fifteen years. When they first met, in spite of all the prescription medicines (~14 pills each day) to manage his Crohn’s, he continued to have flares. So Patricia, armed with the internet and library access, began researching. To make a long story short, her husband Brian has been off all prescription meds and in remission for four years and her stomach issues with Irritable Bowel Syndrome is 98% obsolete.
Patricia is currently working on a cookbook and website for Crohn’s. She enjoys writing, nature, the mountains, fishing, gardening and the outdoors. As with many other people, there never seems to be enough time or money; but she’s rich with blessings and for that she’s thankful.
