Fat Burning Exercises

When you exercise consistently but you need to burn fat faster the solution is adding fat burning exercises to your existing fatloss workout. Check out the best fat burning workout moves in 3 categories plus a quick video to help you get started.

Explosive Fat Burning Exercises: are faster paced, more demanding, and you can easily double the number of calories burned during one session in addition to boosting muscular endurance and fitness levels. Explosive moves also called plyometrics, are typically used by athletes to improve speed and power but they can be modified for all levels to help blast fat and calories faster. Try adding three to five 30-60 second intervals of star jumps, lateral zig zag hops jump squats, medicine ball throws, quick cable punches, incline explosive pushups, mountain climbers, tire or ladder drills, or power jacks to each workout.

Fullbody Fat Burning Exercises: are more functional and use every inch of your body to improve coordination, mobility, and endurance. Fullbody moves also called complexes or core synergistics are often used by dancers, martial arts experts, and the military to create a tough functional body that is resistant to fatigue and physical stress and this in turn boosts fat burning and calories burned. Try adding three to five 45-60 second intervals of sit thrus, burpees, plank rotations, plank walk outs, bear crawls, dowdog pushups, deck squats, or stability ball pikes to each fatloss workout.

Outdoor Fat Burning Exercises: are the the true test of your fitness level and ability to endure real life activities. They're also a great way to stay motivated and to find out what areas need improvement. If you train day in and day out but can't hike or kayak on vacation without getting injured, play sports or ride bikes with your kids without getting tired quickly, or you can't last through an hour of a new activity like rock climbing, surfing, or roller blading then it's time to improve your workouts. Try adding 1 hour per week of any outdoor activity you've never tried to blast fat and to test out your abilities.
