Quick Healthy Meals for Fatloss

Making quick healthy meals for fatloss and health isn't complicated when you follow three simple tips from top healthy food experts. Forget about what you've seen on the cooking channels this is the way to make time saving healthy meals that you and your family will love.

Focus on quality ingredients vs. quantity. I love watching those amazing chefs on the food network (Bobby Flay is my favorite). They make exotic dishes with a multitude of ingredients that require many steps to put together and can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes. It all look so good but the reality is that nobody has time for that during the work week. Healthy food expert Antonio Valladares author of Healthy Urban Kitchen Cookbook explains that you don't really need a ton of ingredients to make delicious food. His cookbook shows people that using fewer quality ingredients (i.e. coconut milk and organic chicken broth) tastes better so you won't need a ton of ingredients and this saves time. Cook more than you need and use in other dishes. Always make a little extra and you'll have enough for another day of quick meals. You can also combine your leftovers with a few fresh ingredients the next day to make variations of the original dish without spending a ton of time in the kitchen. For example you could take that delicious chicken veggie soup and add a cup of whole grain rice or pour it over a baked sweet potato or just use the chicken with greens and raw veggies.

Eat more raw organic foods. You can chop up 2 cups of veggies in under a minute then eat them with shrimp, nuts, olives, cheeses, or toss them into a salad with healthy proteins or whole grains. This takes virtually no time. If you can't find the time for that then buy your veggies chopped and plan some of your weekly meals around those raw veggies. Eating raw foods increase digestive enzymes that help you burn fat but it also saves you having to cook and clean up pans.
