iPod Cardio Workout Tricks

These iPod cardio workout tricks show you exactly how to boost fat loss and calories burned from you fat burning cardio workouts. No need for downloads or pdf printouts to take with you. Just your favorite music, cardio machine or outdoor activity of your choice, and 3 simple cardio workouts that blast 3 times more calories and 9 times more fat.

Try 1/2 Track Intervals
Load up your iPod with all your favorites and include a good mix of fast, medium, and slower tracks. Start your workout on the cardio machine of your choice or outdoors. Warm-up at a moderate speed and moderate resistance/incline to one of your medium tracks. After 5 minutes increase your resistance/incline and your speed and sprint to 1/2 of a faster track then reduce your speed and resistance slightly and recover the rest of the track. Repeat with 2 more fast tracks. After your sprints with recoveries increase the resistance/incline to very hard/high and work hard for 1/2 of a slower track then reduce resistance/incline slightly and recover the rest of the track. Cool down to a slow track for 5 more minutes. Depending on the length of your tracks this workout can take 25-40 minutes. If you want more of a challenge pick shorter tracks but add 1 or 2 more tracks.

Try Full Track Sprints
Jump on any cardio machine or go outdoors and start with a 5 minute warm-up to a medium track then go into a faster track and sprint the entire track. Recover with a medium track for 3 minutes. Sprint again to another fast track then recover with a medium track for 2 minutes. Sprint one last time to another fast track then recover with a medium track for 1 minute. Cool down with a slow track for 5-7 minutes. This workouts can take 20-30 minutes depending on the length of tracks you choose. If you can't sprint for an entire track then work up to it.

Try Chorus Sprints
Jump on any cardio machine or go outdoors and start with a 5 minute warm-up to a medium track. After your warm up increase the speed and resistance/incline to something very challenging then maintain a steady pace to 5 songs but sprint each and every time you hear the chorus of each track. You can also try this with circuit training. Going through circuits then jumping rope each and every time you hear the chorus of your five tracks. This workout can be as long as you like. If you need to back off on the sprints then try every other chorus.
