Best Running Shoes: adidas Supernova Sequence (Women's) - Sky Grey/Rave Pink/White
. I always buy two pairs of running running shoes at a time so I can wear one pair to train clients and the other pair for workouts. I got this shoe along with the Saucony ProGrid Triumph 5. I love both but the Adidas which was meant to be my work shoe turned out to be amazing for bootcamp workouts, running, jump rope workouts, and circuit training workouts while the Saucony is great for just running.
The Adidas Supernova Sequence provides maximum support while allowing your feet to move quickly in all directions. The grip on this shoe is amazing so you won't lose your footing while doing burpees, gliding lunges, plank rotations or fast paced cardio intervals outdoors or on cardio machines. This is the best shoe I've bought in years. I used to swear by the Asics Gel Kayano but this shoe beats any asics shoe hands down and it's more affordable too.
Best Trail Running Shoes: Inov-8 Women's Terroc 308 Trail Running Shoe
. This shoe is awesome for light hiking, trail running, and varied terrain outdoor workouts. The guy who analyzed my feet told me this shoe was ideal for dynamic outdoor workouts but I had never heard of this brand so I bought a pair of Brooks instead. Two days later I realized the Brooks were too stiff so I exchanged them for the Inov 8 and these quickly became my #1 shoe for every outdoor activity including walking.
I've worn these shoes to hike in Hawaii, Mexico, The Grand Canyon, The White Mountains, to walk all over Tucson, and I also kayaked in them in San Diego and Lake Powell. My only issue with this shoe is the insoles are like pieces of cardboard but they can easily be removed and replaced with a pair of inexpensive insoles for maximum comfort. This shoe is so amazing it's the fastest growing brand of shoe in the U.S. My second pair of trail running shoes is the Saucony Grid Excursion TR 2. This shoe is o.k. for short distances but very uncomfortable when going more than 5 miles.
Best Crosstraining Shoes: Asics Women's Gel-FX Cross Trainer
. This shoe is the best choice for those who enjoy all types of activities including group classes, strength training, walking, running, kickboxing, and sports. They provide exceptional cushioning for high impact activities but are light and flexible so they won't weight you down if you need to kick or jump and they provide tons of traction for stop start activities. This is the most reliable and versatile high impact shoe out there and the best looking one too. More shoe reviews coming soon including sandals, fitflops, vibram five fingers.
