Resistance Band Exercises

Resistance band exercises are quick, fun, and can provide an excellent fat burning workout anytime, anywhere. Resistance bands are so inexpensive lightweight and small that you can stash one or two in your car or bedroom for a quick 15 minute workout. You can also pack a couple in a backpack or travel bag so you don't miss a workout when you're traveling. Below are some killer resistance band workout moves you can do including more advanced resistance band exercises from Jon Hinds Owner of Monkey Bar Gym.

Get a Quick Fullbody Workout with Resistance Bands: Choose 6 resistance band exercises and group them into a circuit. For example you can group squats, curls, rows, over head presses, and lunges and go from one exercise to the next without resting and repeat 2 or 3 more times for a quick fat burning workout that targets the entire body. You don't need much space or time to burn lots of calories!

Switch to Resistance Bands Exercises for A Lean Strong Core: Most resistance bands come with a door strap so you can hook the band to a door and perform exercises that target the core muscles the way they're meant to work, as stabilizing muscles. You can perform combination moves like reverse lunges with rows, squats with diagonal chops, fast paced cable punches, swimmers with squats, and lots of other exercises that work the core intensely while strengthening the entire body as well.
