Beach Body Workout Tips

You can get a lean bikini body in less time with 3 beach body workout tips from Tony Horton of P90X and Beach Body. Apply his simple techniques to your fitness routine to speed up fatloss results.

Beach Body Workout Tip 1. Focus on Your Weak Spots: "Many people don't want to try yoga or core work because they think it's silly and weird but I can do things at 45 not because I can do a bunch of pullups but because of yoga, stretching, and core work" says Tony Horton. If you work on all these components you'll boost flexibility, endurance, strength, coordination, posture, balance, and focus much more than with just strength training and cardio alone. All of these elements support each other to build a stronger lean body and they work to help you reach your fatloss and fitness goals much faster. Start dedicating at least 10 minutes of each workout to yoga, core, and stretching and you'll notice a huge difference within one week.

Beach Body Workout Tip 2. Confuse Your Muscles With Diverse Workouts: Focusing on strength training, cardio, and flexiblity is just a small piece of the puzzle when it comes to fatloss and fitness. According to Tony it's different styles of workouts that make the difference between looking good and getting that lean sexy beach body. Your workouts need to include plyometrics, combat moves, core moves, kid play, yoga, and on top of it all use different types of resistance including body weight, bands, weights. One type of workout will pleateau your body fast while many types of workouts combined will transform your body quickly. Try adding a few different moves to each and every workout and see what happens.

Beach Body Workout Tip 3. Constantly Mix It Up to Avoid Plateuas: Tony explains that "the more you mix up your workouts the more you confuse your muscles and the better and faster you get results". When your body never has time to adapt to any one workout or style of workout it constantly has to work to keep up and this prevents the plateau effect and causes your body to burn tons more fat and calories in a shorter period of time. So if you're currently alternating between cardio and weights a few times a week then it's time to start mixing in other types of exercise, muscle groupings, types of weight, etc.
