Most kids want to be active but they may not be athletic, competitive, coordinated, or even interested enough to participate in typical activities like soccer, gymnastics, karate, or ballet. If you need to motivate them to get them moving the games below can be a big boost. Dance Dance Revolution is one of the most popular video games around. It's a musical coordination challenge for dancers and non-dancers that provides an incredible workout. It burns calories galore and improves balance, coordination, stability, and core strength. It's so effective that it's even being used by some schools in their p.e. dept. An awesome choice for kids who love music singing and bouncing. No dance experienced required!


Cranium Hullabaloo is a simon says, twister, musical chairs action packed game that keeps your kids moving, bouncing, and following instructions. The console plays music and gives you goofy commands like stomp, crawl, hop, spin. It's a great way to teach coordination, balance, and stability plus it teaches kids how to follow instructions and how to adapt to the unexpected. Connect-A-Scooter is a 12" x 12" board with swivel casters that can connect to other boards like it. Kids sit on it and move with their feet or their arms. It's a great way to improve upper body and lower body strength and it also improves balance and coordination. These boards are also used in p.e. departments across the nation and were featured on Good Morning America a while back.
