Advocacy Organization Announcements:
In honor of World Down Syndrome Day, The International Mosaic Down Syndrome Association (IMDSA) of Franklin, Texas, will sponsor its second annual "Genes Day" ~ an opportunity to spread awareness of Down Syndrome and Mosaic Down Syndrome throughout offices, schools and communities. Participants make donations and then wear their jeans for the day to support Down syndrome awareness. The top three fundraising teams will win gift boxes of donated prizes. The IMDSA is also bringing the movie "Mr. Blue Sky" ~ featuring an actress with Down syndrome ~ to Houston Texas on February 29, 2008
