Mothers with babies and young children at home may project images of themselves and their children to other moms that are as unrealistic as the perceptions that other mothers may have the resources, support, ideas and energy we can´t find. Or, maybe it's just me!

The National Association of School Nurses (NASN), the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and the National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) have partnered to develop and disseminate a handout for parents on talking to their children about the Swine Flu virus.

The National Down Syndrome Society is collecting photographs of children, teens and adults with Down syndrome who are 'working, playing and learning with friends and family' to create a video for the jumbo screen in New York's Times Square to be shown the morning of September 26, 2009 before the start of the New York City Buddy Walk at Central Park's Great Hill.

The deadline for submitting photos is July 15, 2009 and this year only one photo per individual can be submitted.
