Remember this summer that we are role models for living the lives we hope our sons and daughters will enjoy when they are grown ~ find something you love to do whether you are the very best at that endeavor or not, and give yourself the time and permission to do it at whatever level you are right now. Some things have value in the doing rather than the results ~ like art, gardening and child-rearing. I hope you spend time with a friend who causes you to laugh like you did when you were a kid ~ and if you *are* that friend who lightens someone else's life ~ don't wait for the other person to plan a time to get together - we need many more of those experiences in the world this summer. Our families and friends may assume that we know how much they admire us, or may give advice or criticism more freely than compliments - this summer may be the time to let them know that you are a strong and creative parent who has achieved greater potential than you ever expected, and your child/children are in the top 1% of fabulousness, too, so it would be unfair for any of you to improve much this summer.
I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!
Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
